Chiropractic is the health care discipline that influences the inherent recuperative powers of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery. The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship effects the preservation and restoration of health. The word chiropractic means “done by hand”. Care in our office begins with a thorough medical history and a comprehensive orthopedic and neurologic and chiropractic examination. X-rays are taken when indicated. We have x-ray facilities on the premises. After the examination we will review all of the findings and test results with you. Your treatment program will be explained and any questions will be answered. Your care may include any or all of the following: Chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue (muscle) techniques (ART, Graston, FAKTR), physical therapy (ultrasound, traction, electrical stimulation, ice, heat, and laser) rehabilitative exercise and nutritional support. We recognize the value and responsibility of working with other health care professionals and both co-treat and refer to many local physicians.
